Be prepared for basic equipment maintenance, care and adjustment you might encounter. Background information on equipment repair and purchase, make it easier to take care of your investment.

A minimum age of 12yrs (10yrs for PADI junior scuba diver and PADI junior open water scuba diver) and a PADI scuba diver, PADI junior scuba diver, PADI junior open water diver or PADI open water diver certification is required to get started.

Familiarise yourself with the operation and maintenace of your personal equipment. You might even be give the opportunity to review new of unfamiliar equipment.

This is not an equipment repair program but it does give you:

• Theory, principles and operation of dive equipment
• Routine and recommended care and maintenace procedures
• Common problems with equipment and recommended professional maintenance procedures
• Simple suggestions for comfortable equipment configurations and an introduction to new equipment

This speciality certification also counts as 1 of 5 speciality certifications required for your Master Scuba Diver certification.
