Site Description: 3 Partly buried cast-iron cannons are all that
identify this old wreck. She went down during a north-westerly gale
on the 3 June 1756 en route to False Bay from Table Bay.
She lies in the surf zone and surge can be strong if the sea is not
flat. Best dived in the summer after the south-easter has blown.
Although she is shallow enough to free-dive on, you might want
to stay down a little longer to look for valuables as a salvage permit
has been issued on her.
