Site Description: Situated about 75 m from the northern edge
of Castle Rocks, this pyramid-shapes rock sticks out 1 m above
the water. With the exception of a perfectly flat day, there is
usually surge running. This reserve hosts many big reef fish and
the invertebrate life is colourful and abundant. There are many
submerged rock and swim-throughs. Small octopuses, rays or dog
sharks might be spotted in the gullies on the swim back to the
exit point. This terrain is covered with small round boulders and
kelp, so a compass is advised to keep your bearings.
